am Michael Tilmann, the Captain of Orca Sportfishing Charters, a
division of Tilmann Outfitters. Our company prides itself in providing quality guided fishing trips and river lodging at it's finest. Captain Michael provides all your lodging and fishing needs covering Lake Michigan and the famous Big Manistee River. For river fishing, the
Big Manistee is world wide known for it's fresh, record setting Salmon,
Steelhead and Brown Trout. Cruise down the Big Manistee with
Captain Michael on either his roomy 17' Sea Nymph or his 16' Lavro Drift
Boat. Either boat provides all the comfort and warmth you could ask for
on a half or whole day charter adventure. We can fish the Big Manistee near the
shoreline or in the deep holes for giant Salmon, Steelhead, and the
near-shore coastal waters at the mouth of Lake Michigan or we can just
use some time exploring some of Manistee's unspoiled wilderness
areas and abundant wildlife. Our cabin is located minutes from the
historic port city of Manistee. A guided fishing adventure and
lodging stay with Captain Michael is the perfect addition to your upper
